This season marks the 30th anniversary of the partnership between Nike and Les Parisiens.
PSG was wearing white at home during that period, and had introduced the side stripes in the ’80’s. The debut Nike jersey continued the look. There was a traditional button-down collar, with the Nike swoosh logo from that period. A faint white on white horizontal pattern covered front and back. Importantly, Nike brought back the Eiffel Tower PSG logo, last seen in 1976, and placed it on top of the stripes.
The 2019/20 Paris Saint-Germain Third Jersey is a vibrant update on that historic first shirt. White, with side stripes in les rouge et bleu. Traditional collar has buttons that read 1989-2019. Retro Nike logo. White on white sublimated horizontal stripes with PARIS printed on them covers front and back. Sewn on badge sits on top of the stripes.
